Privacy policy
What we collect, what we don't, and what we do with it.
This policy explains how Workrem (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit workrem.com or place an order. We've written it in plain English. The legal version, with proper disclosures, follows.
What we collect
Information you give us directly, your name, email, shipping address, billing address, and payment information when you place an order. We also collect any information you give us when you sign up for our newsletter, contact our support team, or leave a review.
Information about your device, your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit on our site. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies. We use this to make the site work and to understand how it's being used.
Information from payment processors, we never see your full credit card number. Stripe and Shopify Payments handle payment processing. We receive a token and the last four digits of the card you used.
What we do with it
We use your information to fulfill your orders, send you order updates, respond to your support requests, send you marketing emails (if you've opted in, you can unsubscribe at any time), prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve our website and products.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate Workrem, Shopify (our store platform), Klaviyo (our email service), our shipping carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx), our payment processors (Stripe, Shopify Payments, PayPal), Google (analytics and ads), and Meta (advertising). Each of these has its own privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
Cookies
We use cookies for essential site functionality (cart, checkout, login), analytics (understanding site usage), and advertising (showing relevant ads on Google and Meta). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work properly.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@workrem.com. We respond within 30 days.
If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of information we've collected, sold, or disclosed in the past 12 months. To make a CCPA request, email hello@workrem.com with the subject line “CCPA Request.”
If you're in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR. We currently don't ship to the EU/UK, so we generally don't collect data from EU/UK residents, but if you have questions, email us.
Data security
Workrem uses Shopify's PCI-DSS Level 1 secure infrastructure, the same security standard used by major banks. All data transmitted to and from our site is encrypted via TLS. Payment data is tokenized and never stored on our servers.
Children
Our site and products are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email hello@workrem.com and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. The “last updated” date below shows when we last made changes. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email if you have an account.
